2018 Government In Action Youth Tour Essay Contest Information
CONTEST RULES AND REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for the contest, students:

Must be completing your Junior year in High School as of May 2018.

Must live in the home of parent or guardian who is an active Kit Carson Electric Cooperative member, and resides in the Kit Carson Electric Service Area.

Must be able to participate in the tour to Washington D.C. June 8-15, 2018.

Must submit a completed entry form with a 750 word typed essay on the following topic:
"Kit Carson Electric is on the road to 100% daytime solar energy. What does this mean to you and your community?"
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Applications will be considered when all of the following information has been received at Kit Carson Electric Cooperative:

Turn in completed Kit Carson 2018 Government –In- Action Youth Tour entry form, signed and received by no later than February 15, 2018
